Shawnee County Real Estate Value Notices Come Out Friday

Your 2009 Shawnee County real estate value notices are going out this Friday.

County appraiser Mark Hixon says there are 74,356 of real estate in the county, and he told 13 News your valuation will not increase over last year in Shawnee County.

In Riley County value notices for some 24,000 parcels of land have gone out, according to KMAN radio.

KMAN reports the average sale price of a home in Riley County is just over $178,000.
