Founder Col. Gary Lagrange spoke at the monthly Topeka Chapter of Association of the United States Army monthly meeting. The group provides support to school children in Iraq and Afghanistan, by providing donated schools supplies. They're distributed by the soldiers stationed in the countries.
Lagrange says it's an opportunity to enhance the children's learning experience. He says everyone is encouraged to help. They need basic school supplies. Their vision is for every child to have a backpack full of supplies and leave behind at each school efficient paper, pens, and pencils to sustain the effort.
