Friends of the man who was left homeless after a Monday morning fire in Topeka are asking for your help in getting him back on his feet.

The blaze caused over two million dollars worth of damage at the warehouse in the 800 block of Jackson, where Stan Nicholas worked and lived.

A benefit is being held Saturday at the Chatterbox at 2121 southeast sixth street, starting at 1:00 p.m. You can enjoy food, karaoke, and raffle drawings. All proceeds will go to help Nicholas.

A fund is also set up at all Core First banks in Topeka.
