TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Shawnee County Fair kicked off Thursday.
Attendees got to take part in a bake sale, sheep show and baked goods auction among other activities.
The 4-H king and queen were also announced Thursday evening.
Congratulations to Kayla Hernandez from Indian Creek 4-H Club and Drew Perkuhn from Auburn 4-H Club for winning this year's king and queen!
WIBW-TV's Melissa Brunner announced the new king and queen.
The fair continues throughout the weekend. Parking and admission are free to the public.
