The man charged with murdering a Topeka teen and dumping her body in Manhattan, waived his right to a speedy trial.
24-year-old Deon Ross was in Pottawatomie County Court.
He's accused of killing Alheli Alcantara last October, her body was found behind a Manhattan Hotel.
She and ross were co-workers at a Topeka restaurant.
Ross pleaded not guilty today to three charges in Alcantara's death.
The two week jury trial is set for August 10th.
