WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ The pilot of a twin-engine Cessna makes an
emergency landing in a Sedgwick County field.

Sheriff's Department Major Mike Oliver said the plane left Jabara Airport shortly after 8 a.m. Friday but developed engine trouble. Moments later the aircraft made a belly landing near a wooded area in a wheat field northeast of Wichita, just west of the Butler County line.

Two of the three people aboard the Cessna 421 were taken to a Wichita hospital with apparently minor injuries.
