The Appropriations Committee's action came on a voice vote Friday. The measure goes next to the House for debate.
The bill makes $323 million in adjustments to the budget for the fiscal year that ends June 30.
A little less than half the adjustments come from spending cuts.
The rest come from accounting changes and refinancing state bonds.
It's similar to a plan approved by the Senate on Thursday.
But the mix of spending cuts is different. It also hits public schools harder than the Senate's proposal.
The House committee's bill cuts aid to public schools about $48 million. The Senate plan contained only a $7 million cut.
