WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Negotiators for the union representing 700 engineers at Boeing's military aircraft plant in Wichita are urging workers to reject the company's so-called final offer.

However, the Midwest director for The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace, Bob Brewer, says workers won't be asked whether or not they want to strike.

Brewer says the union wants to return to negotiations.
