But Senate GOP leaders expect revenues to continue to fall short of expectations, meaning the projected deficit would grow.

Senate Majority Leader Derek Schmidt said there's not yet a consensus on how to eliminate the deficit. The Senate Ways and Means Committee is working on a bill.
