Sumner School to Be Auctioned Thursday

TOPEKA, Kan.- Topeka's historic Sumner School should have a new owner Thursday night.

The building will be auctioned in proceedings beginning at 6 p.m. in the Holliday Building Conference Room.

Two applicants are approved to participate. The group Community First and Zaire Thomas of Topeka.

The school is famous for its connection to the Brown versus Board of Education case.

The minimum bid is $50 thousand dollars.
