The Kansas ADAPT group was out Monday in front of the statehouse, speaking out against the Kansas Department of Social Rehabilitation Services.
SRS began a freeze on access to the Home and Community Based Services Waiver Program last month. The program helps people with disabilities get the care they need.
Organizers say they want to raise visibility to the issue of freezing the Medicaid programs, and potential cuts to Medicaid.
The freeze is effective until at least July 1.
