Sebelius Honors Long-time Leaders Monday

Governor Kathleen Sebelius took time Monday night to honor some long-time leaders including the state's newly retired Chief Justice Kay McFarland.

McFarland retired effective Monday after more than 30 years on the state's high court. She couldn't attend Monday's event.

Sebelius also recognized retiring university leaders, including K-State President Jon Wefald, KU Chancellor Robert Hemingway, and Pittsburg State President Tom Bryant.
