Wichita Loses 1,300 Jobs in 1 Year

People in Wichita are feeling the effects of the slumping economy. The Labor Department says the state's largest city lost thirteen hundred jobs between November 2007 and November of last year.

Of the hundred largest cities in the country it was one of 78 with a shrinking job market. Detroit suffered worst over the period, losing almost 68,000 jobs, followed by Atlanta, L.A. and Miami.

Houston led the list, adding over 42,000 jobs.
