Tyson Foods President/CEO Resigns

The president and CEO of the world's largest meat processor has announced his resignation.

The Emporia Gazette reported Wednesday that Dick Bond, of Tyson Foods, will step down immediately and be replaced by former Tyson CEO Leland Tollett. Bond has been CEO since 2006.

His resignation comes with the troubling economy, which has had a major effect on the meat industry.
