The Wichita abortion provider faces 19 misdemeanor counts in Sedgwick County District Court. His attorneys are attacking the
prosecution of his case during a pretrial hearing.
The defense called Linda Carter to the stand yesterday. Carter formerly worked for Morrison before he was elected attorney general, and provided details of an affair that she said lasted until after he took that office.
Morrison acknowledged the affair and resigned a year ago.
Carter acknowleged on the stand that she discussed the Tiller investigation with Morrison, but she said didn't try to persuade
him to file charges.
