Authorities Searching For Vandals After Wilson County Oil Spill

An oil spill in Wilson county has authorities searching for vandals.

They say it happened sometime Monday night at several quest oil field services LLC lease sites.

Wilson county emergency management was notified Tuesday of the incident.

They say vandalism to the tanks at four sites caused oil leakage, the worst caused at least 300 barrels to be lost.

Crews worked all day Tuesday to get the mess cleaned up, most of the oil was recovered.

The incident is being investigated.
