Fiery Crash Kills 3 in KC

A fiery crash killed three people in Kansas City, MO, early Thursday morning. The accident occurred just after clock struck midnight, ushering the New Year.

No one survived the collision which occurred when a man and woman were sitting in their car at the intersection of NE Vivion and Rd and Antioch Rd., according to police.

The car that hit them from behind, which was driven by a 37 year-old Overland Park man, caught fire. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. They have not released his name.

Police were in the vicinity at the time of the accident, but could not save the pair trapped in the other car.

Police are still trying to identify the couple and say it could take a couple of days.
