(Topeka, KS)--The adoption process in the United States can be prolonged, frustrating and ultimately futile for American would-be parents. That is why so many are looking to China, including in Topeka.
Rick and Barbie Long grew tired of trying to adopt here, so they went to China. Twice. They now have two adorable daughters, Rebekah and Charity.
They say they had no problem integrating the kids into their lives, and their family members have been extremely supportive. They suggest other couples look to China to start their families.
