Topeka West Event Highlights Different Cultures

(Topeka, Kan.)- Topeka West High School students did some mixing and mingling Thursday night. A holiday party was held at the school cafeteria.

The Topeka West Black Student Union Club organized the event.

Attendees enjoyed music, food, and socializing. The program aim to unite students of all different backgrounds and cultures at the school.

Club president Genea Colbert says it's a good place to learn to be yourself.
