A month of fun added up to big bucks for the United Way of Greater Topeka.
Stormont-Vail employees were on hand as a $267,170 check was presented to United Way CEO Miriam Krehbiel Thursday.
It is the hospital's largest donation ever. The total is up nearly seven percent from last year.
Stormont held events to raise money throughout October like a gift basket contest and a pie-in-the-face competition.
