The Topeka Community Thanksgiving Dinner volunteers have a busy day Thursday. Crews putting the final touches on the feast will report to work at six o'clock Thursday morning.
They'll spend those first six hours cooking turkeys, whipping up mashed potatoes and stuffing, and preparing plenty of donated food items at the Ag Hall.
Topekans donated hundreds of boxes and cans of green beans, yams or cranberry sauce Wednesday night. The feast is open to everyone from noon until three Thanksgiving afternoon.
