Junction City Housing Program Receives Boost

Junction City's Mutual Self-Help Housing Program is getting an early Christmas gift.

Chuck Banks, USDA Rural Development State Director, presented the program with a ceremonial check Monday. The $162,000 is from USDA's Mutual Self-Help Housing Technical Assistance grant program.

Junction City's Self-Help Housing is being recognized for its support of rebuilding affordable housing in Chapman.

USDA Rural Development also approved funding to build a total of 18 homes in Chapman and Junction City.
