Delicious Gingerbread Homes Made to Support the Arts

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Topeka Performing Arts Center began this year's annual Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays with an open house on Thursday, Nov. 20.

"Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays helps raise money for children's programs at TPAC," said Barbara Wiggins, executive director of TPAC, "and allows local professional gingerbread home builders to showcase their skills and receive recognition."

Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays runs November 21 - 23. Admission is $3 per person, $12 per family of five or more or $2 per person for groups of 20 or more.

Visitors can view professionally built homes at the Gingerbread Homes Displays.
Build your own gingerbread house at the Capitol Federal Savings Graham Cracker Junction.
Find some great holiday decorations and gifts at the Holiday Boutique.
And, make sure to take home some home-baked desserts from Sweet Tooth Lane. You can also take your favorite gingerbread house home with you by bidding in the Gingerbread Homes Silent Auction.
