Locals got to show off their skills Thursday for a good cause, using graham crackers.
The Topeka Performing Arts held an open house to kick off its annual gingerbread "Homes for the Holidays" event.
It helps raise money for children's programs at TPAC and also allows professional gingerbread home builders from around the area to display their best work.
The event runs through Sunday and also includes a holiday boutique, Sweet Tooth Lane, and the Graham Cracker Junction, where you can create your very own gingerbread house.
Tickets are three dollars per person.
