The commission action came Wednesday after hearing from officials for ProKanDo. The commission could have fined the group up to $15,000.
The commission said the PAC failed to disclose some donors' occupations and employers as required by law in two reports for
2006 and one for 2007. It decided not to issue a fine for a second
allegation of not properly reporting contributors from a telemarketing firm after it provided a list of donors.
Julie Burkhart, ProKanDo chief executive officer, says her group has worked to get as much information as it could. Burkhart says the commission was doing its job and accepted its decision.
