The slumping economy might have at least one perk, lower gas prices.

AAA Monday released figures indicating November is the fourth consecutive month of falling gasoline prices and diesel prices in both Kansas and the U.S.

In topeka, the average price of regular fuel is $1.88, last month it was $2.70.

Last year at this time, Kansans were paying $3.06 a gallon.

The average prices of mid-grade fuel, premium, and diesel have also fallen.
