KU Grad Returns to Alma Mater as "World's Most Powerful Woman"

Fortune magazine calls her the most powerful woman in the world - but Cynthia Carroll says she doesn't pay much attention to titles like that.

Carroll stopped at KU, her alma matter, for a media roundtable Friday. She studied geology and graduated in 1982 grad. From there, she earned an MBA from Harvard and is now the CEO of Anglo American.

Anglo American is one of the largest mining companies in the world. It works in 45 countries and has 200,000 employees.

Carroll's met veryone from presidents and global leaders to rural villagers. She says business is all about people.
