FORT RILEY, Kan. (AP) _ Crews from ABC's ``Extreme Makeover Home
Edition'' begin work in tornado-battered Chapman on a custom home
for the family of an Army soldier who was wounded in Iraq.

The network announced at Fort Riley Tuesday that Patrick Tutwiler and his family were chosen from four other Chapman families.

An F4 tornado ripped through the town on June 11, destroying Tutwiler's home and around 70 others, as well as a funeral home,
two churches and the town's three schools. One woman was killed in
the storm that hit less than a year after Tutwiler returned from
Iraq with a brain injury.

The tornado forced Tutwiler, his wife and four children to live in housing at Fort Riley. ABC says it is sending the family on a Bahamas vacation while hundreds of volunteers build their new home over a seven-day period.
