PITTSBURG, Kan. (AP) _ The election isn't over yet in Crawford
Election officials tested equipment over the weekend after problems were discovered with a scanner that recorded the votes from a site in Pittsburg. Officials determined the problem was with a card that gave the machine instructions to record the vote.
Then officials found another glitch while testing all county machines on Saturday. The problem was with a machine that recorded votes in Arma and could affect the outcome of a local sales tax question.
That issue was approved by about 100 votes. But Crawford County Clerk Don Pyle does not think the outcome will change.
