In response-- Senator Sam Brownback today called on television networks to be "held accountable for violating the public trust in flouting the broadcast decency law."
Brownback has long called for stronger ratings for music television and video games, specifically for violence and sexual content. He also authored the broadcast decency enforcement act. It increases fines for broadcasting obscene, indecent, or profane material ten-fold.
