39 immigrants from 19 different countries became United States Citizens during a naturalization ceremony in Topeka Friday. In order to become a citizen, applicants must demonstrate good moral character, attachment to the principles of the constitution and have a favorable dispostition toward the United States. U.S. Magistrate Judge K. Gary Sebelius presided over the ceremony at the Frank Carlson United States Courthouse.
