Topekans took time Tuesday night to remember a murdered teenager.

A tree was dedicated in honor of 18-year old Alheli Alcantara near the Burger King where she worked.

Alcantara's body was found outside a Manhattan hotel just over a week ago.

A co-worker, Deon Ross, is charged with her death, his preliminary hearing is set for Friday in Pottawatomie County.
