Oklahoma City Police have made an arrest in connection with the murder of two brothers originally from Topeka.
Doyle Wayne Briggs was taken into custody shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday. He was booked on two counts of murder in the first degree.
Officers found the bodies of 37-year old Corey Brown and 34-year old Shannon Brown around 12:30 a.m. Monday morning lying in a road.
Funeral services still have not been set, but Corey Brown's widow told us they will be held in Topeka. She also says a memorial fund has been set up for the families. Donations to the Brown Brothers Memorial Fund may be sent to any Super Chief Credit Union.
