Two grain cars slid off the railroad tracks in Scranton Thursday night.

It happened around 8pm. Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn says the cars never tipped and nothing spilled from them. She says they were on a side track, so rail traffic was never disrupted.

Authorities were on the scene less than an hour. Dunn said it appeared the rails on the side track were damaged and would need repairs.
