The community came out to voice their thoughts on the future of the Highway 24 corridor Tuesday evening, but the focus of the conversation turned to one particular intersection of that corridor.
Everyone wanted to talk about Highway 24 and Topeka Boulevard -- more specifically, the cloverleaf.
The city, county and Department of Transportation are sponsoring a study focusing on commercial development along the highway.
The more pointed issue is whether a roundabout at Topeka Boulevard would be safer than the current cloverleaf. Some transportation experts say the cloverleaf if old, and insufficient.
Residents in the area like the cloverleaf -- and want it to stay.
There will be another meeting this winter -- for details click the link.
