The Topeka Police Department and Safe Streets are teaming up to help keep our community safer. A training session was held Tuesday for local landlords and property managers at Safe Streets.
The session takes place four times a year, and aims to help give building owners, management, and workers the skills and techniques they need keep crime out of their properties. The training helps management owners learn things to look out for.
The session also gives landlords information on local drug trends, screening tenants, leases, and evictions.
