Parents filled the room at the Shuler Education Center Monday evening to express their views on a boundary proposal. The preliminary lines have been drawn and while some are alright with their children switching schools, others are urging the boundary committee to reconsider.
"We've been working on this but we know that we don't necessarily have all of the ideas or the right answers so we wanted to give people a chance to share their thoughts," said Martin Weishaar, the Communication Coordinator for Auburn Washburn.
Parents and even a few children listened closely to the justification for the boundaries but did not hold back when the time came for their input.
