Homeless Task Force Aims to Help with Utility Bills

The winter season is just around the corner and that means higher heating bills.

The Topeka Homeless Task Force had information to help you fight that financial strain with the "Save Money on Your Utility Bills" meeting Wednesday afternoon.

Utility companies and community experts were there to share information about programs to help people stay on top of their bills.

Having utilities shut off can cause even bigger problems.

Something as insignificant as a toilet running all the time can still cause some big increases in your utility bill.
