Emporia State Student Being Remembered Saturday

An 18-year-old Emporia State student who was shot and killed while hunting is being remembered. An event Saturday at Americus Park will raise money for the "Love of the Outdoors" scholarship honoring Beau Arndt, according to our radio partner KVOE.

It's given to an incoming ESU freshman biology or earth science major with a 2.5 to 3.5 G.P.A. A $10 donation gives you a chance to win several hunting-related prizes.

Tickets are available at Bluestem Farm and Ranch Supply, Kansasland Bank in Americus, and also at Americus Park Saturday.
