Kansas Special Enforcement Officers Recognized for Service

Kansas Special Enforcement Officers were recognized Tuesday for their fifteen years of service to the state.

Tuesday's open house addressed their efforts to help the Department of Corrections and citizens of Kansas.

The group was formed 15 years ago to help serve and enforce warrants.

Some of their focus is on parole violations, surveillance and gathering criminal intelligence.

Director of Enforcement Apprehension and Investigation Division Jon Lamb says the group's abilities and partnerships with local law enforcement agencies have expanded dramatically since their inception.
