13 is on your side with several road closures that may effect your morning commute.
The first is near Wakarusa. A culvert replacement project will close SW 101st street between SW Crawford Road and SW Davis Road.
No detour will be provided, the road could be closed for up to 75 days, that's how long the contractor has been given to complete the project.
If your morning commute takes you on I-70 west-bound you will want to allow extra time Monday.
A pavement repair project is scheduled to begin and will close the left west-bound lane followed by the right west-bound lane from Rice Road to just west of the Kansas Turnpike Authority toll plaza in east Topeka.
All ramps will remain open during the projects duration. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.
The next phase of a water line project will slow down traffic on 12th.
At 7 a.m. Monday 12th street will be closed from Jackson to Topeka.
A detour will be posted and motorists can expect the road to open back up at 5:00 Monday evening.
