The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library opened its new Health Information Neighborhood today.
The new resource and service area contains more than five thousand books on health and wellness.
The Health Neighborhood is part of a partnership between the library, St. Francis Health Center and Stormont-Vail HealthCare.
The books are arranged by topic for easier browsing.
The new area also includes health topic bags with information on specific topics such as diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol. It can be be found in the west wing of the library.
