State officials want to know what you think about a household hazardous waste facility proposed for Jackson County.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is taking public comment on it through October 27th.
Jackson County wants to locate the facility that would take items like old paint, oil and garden chemicals in Holton. It would also serve Atchison, Brown and Doniphan counties.
Drawings and other information will be available for review at both the Jackson County Clerk's office and KDHE's Topeka office starting Friday.
