TULSA, Okla. (AP) Authorities say a Missouri man is in custody in two men's deaths in Oklahoma.
Travis Danley was tracked to Missouri after allegedly killing the men and leaving their bodies in a burned-out house near Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Sunday.
Tulsa Sheriff's Captain John Bowman says investigators suspect that Danley raided a gun safe after the killings and then stole a pickup truck and drove it to Joplin.
Bowman says Danley's mother persuaded him to surrender to police. He was arrested in Miami, Oklahoma, and brought back to Tulsa on Sunday night.
Officials were trying to determine a motive for the slayings. Firefighters found one of the victims shot in the head in a back bedroom. They found the second man in another bedroom. Bowman says the man was ``incredibly burned.''
