Topeka police are investigating a drive-by shooting that did damage outside of a home early this morning.

Police say a person drove by a home on the 1400 block of east 24th street and opened fire at the home.

Bullets struck a van that was parked outside and also the home's mailbox.

The house was not struck and no one inside the home was injured.

The home owner told 13 News this afternoon that they noticed their motion sensor lights go off and hears shots and took cover.

He says his van was hit at least twice.

No arrests have been made.
