ST. LOUIS (AP) One of the nation's biggest architectural firms is splitting into two companies. The board of St. Louis-based HOK Group and its shareholders agreed yesterday to transfer ownership of HOK Sport Venue Event to leaders of that practice. Terms were not
disclosed.

HOK Sport Venue Event has been part of HOK Group for 25 years,
operating as a wholly owned subsidiary since 2000. Officials say the buyout will have no impact on clients or projects for HOK or HOK Sport Venue Event.

HOK's projects include airports, hospitals, museums and other
facilities. HOK Sport Venue Event is a leading designer of sports
facilities, including the new Yankee Stadium and the stadium for
London's 2012 Olympic Games. Its client list includes 24 baseball
and 30 NFL franchises.
