Whether you're planning a business meeting, a wedding or anything in between, Visit Topeka, Inc. wants you to find everything you need right in the Capital City.
Visit Topeka held its fifth "Meeting Planner Showcase" Wednesday. It gives businesses and vendors in Topeka a chance to showcase what the city has to offer to events, conventions and meeting planners across Northeast Kansas.
Visit Topeka hopes to market the city as a one-stop shop.
"We want them to come here if they have an event coming up," said Visit Topeka Sales Coordinator Adrianne Meyer. "They can select a caterer that's here or get some ideas, maybe find an attraction for an off-site evening event or maybe book a hotel convention center. We want them to see all that Topeka has and I think we've got some pretty great vendors here."
Something new offered at the showcase this year was a series of educational sessions.
