Topeka school officials are looking into reports a student had a pocket knife on a bus Monday.
USD 501 spokesperson Ron Harbaugh says the district received a report a third grader from Williams Magnet School brought the pocket knife to school, then pulled it out and waved it at another student on the bus.
Harbaugh says the bus driver did not see the incident. The other child's parents contacted school officials about the incident.
Harbaugh says administrators will meet Tuesday to decide what action to take.
