OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) _ Anthem Publishing next month will merge its KCB and St. Louis CEO business magazines into a single title, called Midwest CEO.
Besides a new name, the Overland Park-based publisher said it will expand the magazine's coverage and combined circulation of 30,000 subscribers to markets beyond Kansas City and St. Louis.
Dara Macan, vice president of Anthem's business group, said the company is also merging its Commercial Journal Kansas City and Commercial Journal St. Louis into Midwest Commercial Journal, focused on commercial real estate and business tenants.
The two merged magazines will continue to be published out of Overland Park while Anthem said it will keep its sales office in the St. Louis area. Macan said the combinations will not require layoffs.
