ELLSWORTH, Kan. (AP) _ A Salina man behind bars in the state prison at Ellsworth is now charged in the March murder of Jeffrey Scott Noel at a north-central Kansas farm.
Kenneth Eugene Wilson, 44, was charged Monday with first-degree murder, two burglary counts and a weapons charge. Wilson is accused of burglarizing Noel's home near Portis, taking Noel's cell phone and $50, then killing Noel with the victim's gun.
Wilson's first court appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.
